Loading docks, freight elevators, and reserved elevator windows are all things our office manager, Renee Boswell, handles before your crew ever shows up — she’s called most of the leasing offices in this town before and knows what paperwork they’ll ask for.
MTSU turnover season
Middle Tennessee State University’s roughly 20,000 students create a genuinely brutal compression every May and August — dozens of complexes near campus all turning over inside the same three-day window. Crew chief Dallas Prentiss runs our MTSU move-in/move-out schedule and knows the loading patterns at most of the big complexes ringing campus, down to which buildings only allow trucks in a certain gate.
Because so much of that turnover happens on a Friday evening or a Saturday — parents driving down, students juggling finals — we built our schedule around evening and weekend slots at no overtime surcharge. A Saturday move-out during finals week costs the same as a Tuesday afternoon in October.
