“Ricky and his team made moving a breeze! I was surprised with how quickly everything was loaded and unloaded. They finished in the time frame scheduled even after delays such as traffic and me having to get keys etc. They contacted me when en route to my house and arrived promptly! Thanks Ricky!”
I-24 runs straight through the middle of everything we do — northwest toward Nashville and beyond, southeast toward Chattanooga and out of state. Midnight Movers has been running that corridor since 2013, and long-distance work looks nothing like a local apartment move: it’s route planning, load sequencing, and a crew that stays with your belongings the entire way instead of handing them off at a transfer point.

Why the I-24 corridor is our specialty
Our founder Dalton Rucker spent his early career on overnight logistics runs through the distribution centers that line I-24 near Murfreesboro — the same corridor that’s pulled in so much of the manufacturing and warehouse growth around here, Nissan’s Smyrna plant included. That background means our dispatcher, Jarrod Kellum, plans routes the way a freight scheduler would, not the way a moving-day rookie would.
Crew chief Trey Overby leads most of our long-haul jobs and keeps the same two- or three-person team on your load from the first box in Murfreesboro to the last box at your new front door — no swapping crews at a warehouse halfway there.
Scheduling around your timeline
Long-distance moves often need to happen on a weekend, especially for families relocating for a new job or getting kids settled before a school year starts. We built our schedule around evening and weekend availability with no overtime surcharge, so a Saturday departure doesn’t cost more than a Tuesday one.
We operate under a Tennessee Public Utility Commission household-goods permit plus US DOT and MC authority for interstate moves. Packing your whole household before the trip?
